I'm a member of a professional order in Quebec. The day the law passed every member received an email from them stating that they will no longer be able to communicate with us in English. If you can't understand, you will need a translator to help. Emails that used to be bilingual are now exclusively in French.

To make matters worse, the bill also allows the language police to seize phones, documents, computers, and other devices without a warrant just to ensure they are in French.[1]

According to Aeschylus, in the heat of the battle of Salamis, the Greeks sang

Forward, you sons of Hellas!

Set your country free! Set

free your sons, your wives,

the tombs of your ancestors,

and the temples of your gods.

All is at stake: now fight!

‘Nationalism’ is typically seen as a term in political terminology meaning salient focus on valuing a nation, or at least the concept of a nation. There are at least two types of nationalism: Leftist nationalism and the right-wing idea of a nation.

E.g. Civic nationalism, also known as liberal nationalism, is a form of nationalism identified by political philosophers who believe in an inclusive form of nationalism that adheres with traditional liberal values of freedom, tolerance, equality, and individual rights.
