Psychological unblending

I go by Janina Fisher's unblending protocol. Even if I can't access any of the 8 Cs, I can use the language of parts to create distinction. A reframe example of feelings could be "I am observing the presence of a part that is expressing a freeze and/or submit trauma response. I am observing that this part is expressing feelings of nothingness and hopelessness, which they are conveying through the thoughts they are showing me." It might not be peace or calm, but observation is curiosity, which is still a C of Self. Accessing Self is a practice, one that strengthens with time and repetition. I don't think it's really easy for anyone, unless they were raised with a focus on meditative mindfulness. Like any other skill, it's something you learn.[1]
