Transhuman intelligence may be defined differently than "trans-human intelligence" with a hyphen. Trans-human intelligence is a conception of intelligence that transcends and includes humanity. For example, given that animal order objects, such as in building a nest, and AI can order objects, ordering objects can be conceived of as a feature of trans-human intelligence. Conversely, transhuman intelligence may be conceived of as a term synonymous with posthuman intelligence, i.e. the conception of intelligence in a specifically posthuman being, as opposed to a post-human being (being after the cessation of humans).[1]
